About Me

Hi there, I’m Robin, though most know me as Rob or Robby. Looking back, I’ve been hammering away in the construction industry nearly as long as I can remember. Crafting a career and a name for myself not long after I entered the workforce. It was a calling that I answered without hesitation. And one that charted a course straight into the heart of the architectural cast stone industry. This was back in the early ’90s.

Now, you might be curious about what architectural cast stone products are. Simply put, they are refined building materials designed to simulate natural cut stone. A cornerstone in creating timeless aesthetics for buildings. Little did I know, this niche that piqued my interest would eventually explode into an enterprise that stretched across the globe.

It all started from a spark of fascination with the versatility and the enduring beauty of cast stone. But, if I’m being honest, at the height of my business’s expansion, I saw it as a trend that would inevitably taper off. How wrong I was! My old company producing wet cast stone, ran until 2012 and was turning over millions. Supplying crafted elegance to many countries, and yes, I was reveling in every bit of that whirlwind success.

What’s more, the language and innovations I introduced to this niche market didn’t just vanish into thin air. They continue to resonate within the industry today. I helped shape a dialogue around architectural cast stone, one that still speaks volumes in design and construction circles.

I’m turning the page on a new chapter now, by way of this website, with the aim to share a treasure of knowledge and, perhaps, a dose of inspiration. Whether you’re a seasoned professional in the trade or an intrigued newcomer. I’m here to offer insights, tips, and stories from the stone-soaked trenches of my past experiences.
